A battle had been lost, but the war is still on……

Hi friends,
It was a sad consequence for the whole M.tech community after the C.DOT campus recruitment drive. But it should not bring down the enthusiasm of us, because we are the masters, not a mere graduate. For us the failure is the real test of our mettle and capability.
Let me recollect the dialogue of the movie “once upon a time in Mumbai”
“Kasti laharon se takrayegi, tabhi kinara naseeb hoga”. For us the failure is just like the oceanic waves, and our academic boat must face it in order to get a splendid professional coast.
If we lost campus recruitment, we lost nothing, but if we lost our enthusiasm it means we lost everything. So I appeal to all the DCian to keep up their level of enthusiasm for the next campus.
Winners never quit, and quitters never win……………….
Those who are interested in history, they can able to find that all the stories of success are also stories of great failure. But sometimes we only see one side of the picture and say that the person got lucky.
I have read the history of a great man. Let me share his life history with you.
This was a man who failed in business at the age of 21 ; was defeated in a legislative race at age 22; failed again in business at age 24; overcame the death of his sweetheart at age 26; had a nervous breakdown at age 27; lost a congressional race at age 34; lost a senatorial race at age 45; failed in an effort to become vice-president at age 47; lost a senatorial race at age 49; and was elected president of the United States at age 52.

This great man was Abraham lincoln
Who would dare call him a failure? He could have quit. But to Lincoln, defeat was a detour not a dead end. As a master, for us the failure should be a stepping stone towards success rather than a stumbling block. Our pursuit of getting a good job should not be limited to the on campus only, there are other beautiful opportunities are waiting for us.

Best of luck for everybody…..
