Ek chilu aisa bhi!!!!!

There used to be guy named chilu in the hearts of arunachal,, on the foothills of himalayas....and in a village as small as you can count the number of cows...but still the village had a govt hr sec school..that gave chilu a chance to study until class-12...chilu joined the school in class-5 as his father was posted there as junior teacher..but unfortunately the school was english medium and chilu had completed his class-4 studies in hindi medium with only knowledge of a,b,c,d,e...

chilu was good in maths, but he could not understand the questions in exam as they were in english....

in this way chilu's answers went wrong and he could only pass class-5 with a bit of grace as his father was posted there as teacher...now his father was very much worried because the sons of other teachers were doing well...chilu's father started guiding his son, and chilu's hardwork paid off...he passed class-6 and class-7 with average marks..in class-8, he surprised all and became the district topper..chilu's school got recognition because of him....all the sour mouths turned into appreciation for chilu....behind all these, his father was the guiding force..

ultimately chilu passed class-10 with flying colors..but in class-11, he opted for science stream, and teachers for physics and biology were not available at the school..but chilu had no option but to study himself.. 

finally chilu passed class-12 with 82 percent marks..he topped NERIST(north eastern regional institute of science and technology) from arunachal state....he took admission there in ECE branch like all ignorant minds(chilu had also qualified AIEEE but he was getting mechanical branch there, so his father thought ECE is better than mechanical.)...first two years at NERIST were his struggling phase..he was weak at physics because of poor background..

finally 3rd year was over and people got worried about future... chilu thought of doing m-tech....so he started preparing for GATE....but poor availability of books and coaching material hit him...he was able to manage only 95.26 perecntile...finally the days of b-tech were over....for the first time chilu went outside north-east at IITR for m-tech admissions...he was amazed by the crowd and finally could not make to final list...then he went to IT-BHU..disqualified again...finally he went to NIT Warrangal with full hope as three institutes were taking admissions togather( NIT CALICUT, NIT TRICHY, NITW)...he was again disqualified...all his hopes were thwarted...even application dates for most of the institutes were over....only one institute, MANIT ...three days were remaining...he filled the form taking the name of god..

councelling process for MANIT took 2 months and chilu was loosing all hopes of doing m-tech...finally a list came and chilu was able to make into it (even the list contained misprint in chilu's name and chilu was not sure it was his name or someone else.).....finally chilu got admission in m-tech and he was happy as ever...

his stay at bhopal changed all his perceptions about life and goals....for the first time he was facing the real heat of competition... chilu got awesome friends there...and started preparing for PSU along with M-tech....

he started giving exams tirelessly.... was facing disappointments everywhere.. but then he never lost hope and carried out his preparation...during his preparation., he got utmost help from his room-mate....he was a hard-working bun..that motivated him as well.......finally he was able to qualify AAI written exam in his 3rd semester.. most needed breakthrough he got....he gave his first PSU interview .....luck favored and he got selection in AAI..  on the same day he cleared BHEL written exam...hurrahhhh!!!! chilu was unable to believe himself...he was both crying and laughing.....(DENE WALA JAB BHI DETA, DETA CHAPPAR FAD KE!!!!)....

chilu joined AAI and became a class-B officer....wah!!! chilu's parents were very happy....chilu's M-TECH was still remaining...so he extended it for a year..and went to kolkata airport for training...during training he gave BHEL interview and most important IES-2010 interview(could not mention...chilu had also qualified in IES-2010 written during training..).....after training  chilu luckily got posting at bhopal airport....bhopal was a lucky place for him...now chilu had some plus points...soon his account had more money(earlier he never had more than 10000 in his account and sometimes he had managed with 100 rupees for aweek also)..and a bit of respect..but chilu's aim for IES was brewing in him..

IES-2010 final results came and chilu was not recommended by 3 marks..though chilu was unhappy, but thought the goal was almost done....so he started preparing again...he was left with 1 and half months for preparation...but chilu had a habit of preparaing in the death hours...finally he gave written exam(the place where chilu gave written, the temperature was around 49 and classroom had no fan and water facility...chilu used to take water from outside in the exam and that water used to become more hotter than his body.)... he was a bit more satisfied compared to last year.......now chilu had time, so he started focusing on M-TECH thesis...his guide has a genuine personality with vast experience and tons of knowledge base...that meant chilu needed to do something research work...but chilu was busy with office, in the remaining hours, he had also joined a coaching (to accomplish his dream of doing coaching)...ultimately december came and his thesis was a distant dream....now chilu thought of some alternative options because the thesis he was doing was of high standards and beyond his capabilities and time frame....so he searched some IEEE papers related to his job.....finally he got some relevant work and presented his thesis to his guide....his guide was also happy to have something new...in the meantime IES-2011 results came and chilu got selected second time in written...chilu was happy but he had to manage time between his thesis and interview preparation......

finally chilu submitted his thesis on 20th january and his IES interview was on 13th feb........now chilu started preparing....but his m-tech in Digital communication started haunting him....he hadn't learnt anything new in m-tech except some from networking and mobile comm....so he started focussing on the areas of m-tech.....

finally the day for interview came....chilu had stayed at delhi with his friend ashish (bachpan ka dost) ..chilu dressed nicely and reached upsc bhawan at 11 am...his interview was in the evening....so he walked around upsc, in the gardens and the india gate...finally he entered the upsc bhawan at 1.15pm..... all the interviews were neatly dressed  with thick spectacles....finally he was alloted E-8 panel for interview...the chairman being RAJNI RAZDAN (1973 batch IAS)....he was the last one for interviews (he had a habit of getting interviewd in the end)...finally his interview was over and he happy with his performance.....his background from arunachal really helped....

19th march,2011--final results for IES-2011 came and chilu qualified IES with AIR-87.......chilu became an IES officer...bravo.....!!!!
